Study: Anti-Palestinian Racism in Greater Toronto Area Schools
Research volunteers with The Legal Centre for Palestine are undertaking a study to understand the experiences of Palestinian children or children of Palestinian descent in the Toronto District School Board ("TDSB"), Peel District School Board ("PDSB"), Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board ("DPCDSB"), and Toronto Catholic District School Board (“TCDSB” ).
Responses are welcomed from:
Parents and guardians of children of Palestinian descent between the ages of 3-17
Parents and guardians of non-Palestinian children who have experienced or been affected by anti-Palestinian racism or by school policies that suppress discussions or expressions of solidarity with Palestine.
Your input is valuable in helping us understand the broader impact of these policies and practices in educational settings.
Your answers will be completely confidential, and your identity as well as your child’s identity will remain anonymous. The insights gained from this study will help us at LCP develop strategies to better support Palestinian families in Canadian schools and advocate for the necessary changes in policies and attitudes to eradicate this form of discrimination.
Please note:
The primary purpose of this form is to collect information about incidents. If you need legal support and/or advice, please fill out our regular intake form.
