What We Do at the Centre

At the Legal Centre for Palestine (LCP), our work is rooted in a commitment to justice, dignity, and the protection of Palestinian rights. We engage in a variety of activities designed to support Palestinians and their allies in Canada and the broader movement for Palestinian rights.

Legal Advocacy

We provide legal support to individuals and groups facing discrimination, harassment, and legal challenges related to their Palestinian identity and/or activism. Our roster of dedicated legal professionals is committed to defending the rights of Palestinians and those advocating for Palestinian rights and liberation.

Strategic Litigation

Our strategic litigation efforts focus on challenging unjust laws and practices in court. By pursuing landmark cases, we aim to set important legal precedents that advance the rights of Palestinians and create systemic change. Our litigation work is a critical component of our broader strategy to uphold justice and protect human rights.

Policy Advocacy

We work with policymakers to promote laws and policies that protect the rights of Palestinians and support social justice initiatives. By engaging with government officials and other stakeholders, we aim to influence policy changes that will benefit the Palestinian community and promote equality and justice.

Education and Training

Our education and training programs are designed to empower Palestinians and their allies in Canada with the knowledge and tools needed to advocate for their rights effectively. We offer workshops, seminars, and resources that cover a wide range of topics, from legal rights to effective advocacy strategies.
