Press Conference: The Architecture of Genocide
On September 17th, 2025, the Legal Centre for Palestine was joined by Forensic Architecture for an important presentation on Israel's conduct in Gaza and what it means for Canada under international and domestic Canadian law. Forensic Architecture outlined the results of intensive interdisciplinary research uncovering overlapping patterns of displacement, destruction, and violence in Israel's conduct that leave no other conclusion than that Israel is engaged in a systematic effort to destroy Palestinian life, the conditions necessary for life, and life-sustaining infrastructure. The Legal Centre for Palestine followed with a legal analysis on what this means for Canada and what actions must be taken to ensure that Canada meets it's obligations under international and domestic law.
